Description
100% Sangiovese. The grapes are picked late to get maximum ripeness from this high altitude vineyard. Fermented in cement tanks with 20% whole bunches. Very long maceration of 4 months gives this wine a rich fruit character which distinguishes it from the more classic styles. Harvested by hand. It is crisp and surprisingly spicy with touches of citrus, stone and red fruits.
