Bainbridge is an island just west of Seattle in the Puget Sound and the location of this distillery. This whiskey is distilled using a mash bill of 100% USDA organic soft white wheat sourced from local farms in Washington. The whiskey is aged 2 years in new 10-gallon barrels with a #3 char.
Bainbridge Battle Point Organic Wheat Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: The aroma is not intense, but filled with Wheat Thin crackers, maple, and a dusting of both cinnamon and sawdust.
Palate: The depth increases just a bit on the palate with those notes becoming just a bit more concentrated.
Finish: A lingering finish with a bit of salt-air brine.
